Yeah Me!

In these uncertain times, I did the one thing that I for a while have been thinking about but thought I would wait a bit longer. I bought a new car. I bought a 2008 Dodge Caliber. It is ultra cool and I love it! For those who care, it does get a decent mileage of 23 City and 27 Highway. The old car was still OK but I could sense that it's 10 year old self would start to nickel and dime me to death. That and the fact that I am traveling more and more with my young nieces made me want to get something safer.

So I originally had wanted a burnt orange color that Dodge offers but the dealer could not find one with the options that I wanted so I opted for a color called Surf Blue Pearl. Below is a pic as taken in my parents drive-way. (Another reason I decided to get a new car was that my parents also just last week got a new Caliber in Red):

As I arrived at work today and was telling my team mates about my new purchase and trying to give them an idea of the color I was looking around the office to see if I could find something the match the color. My eyes laid upon a row of 1 inch by 1 inch magnets posted along the shelf of one of my co=workers. The magnets were our company logo:

Yes that's right, subconsciously I chose a car the exact color of my New York Life's Logo. I OWN A CAR THAT IS NEW YORK LIFE BLUE!!!!
